Patiently waiting |
One of the cheques being handed over - the AP Power generator proudly in place |
Organisations that made it happen:
|
Not only is it a difficult task to get 189 children to bed in the dark but the manufacture of artificial limbs also stops when there is no power - and sometimes they are without power for 18 hours a day because of supply problems. That has all changed. |

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service overseeing the obligatory water and children routine |
West Midlands Ambulance and Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue looking at the children's work in the classrooms, their work was very neat. |

Wherever in the world - children and fire engines |
The big hand over officially - The Acting British High Commissioner to Tanzania and the Officer Commanding Salvation Army Tanzania |
| The fund raising will
continue towards the running costs and servicing, money making a real
difference to the people it was intended for - it can be made to work. From a Pink Pig being kidnapped from an ambulance at Craven Arms and taken to Tanzania through to the generosity of AP Power and Plustronics all the people involved have made the idea a reality.
